Congratulations to 14U Fayette County Blue Devils Coach Greg Ashley for winning the 2011 Ron “Papa” Schaper Memorial Coaches Award for displaying Sportsmanship, Integrity, Responsibility, and Excellence during the 2010 Gatlinburg Thanksgiving Bowl
There will be a coaches meeting at 7:00 am Thursday (24th) morning, this will give coaches an opprotunity to meet other coaches in their division, we will be presenting our “Ron Schaper Coaches Award”, and go over the tournament rules.
We currently have no additional space for any new teams.

Parking for the Gatlinburg Thanksgiving Bowl will be at Gatlinburg-Pittman High School. Parking Spaces located by field #2 at Mills park are reserved for Handicap vehicles and tour busses ONLY, all others will be towed at owners expense (this area will be roped off and clearly marked).
Directions to our Facilities, as you plan your trip to the 2011 Gatlinburg Thanksgiving Bowl please be advised that on 2 of our fields we offer concrete bleachers and on Field 1 we offer aluminum bleachers. Stadium seats and camping chairs are permitted and may be more comfortable for spectators.
Spend your Thanksgiving holiday amid the splendor of the Great Smoky Mountains, while participating in our 39th Annual Thanksgiving Football Tournament. We have Age Division Brackets to accommodate 6-14 years of age, and this year we have added 3 Pop Warner style divisions for teams to compete in a competitive atmosphere. This past year we had teams from ten states competing in our three-day tournament. Our registration fee is FREE, if you are staying at one of our Host Hotels (starting at $69.99 per night) in downtown Gatlinburg, $500 otherwise there is no gate fee for spectators, this keeps the price down for your families. This is a great opportunity to get your team together one last time to celebrate a great season. We offer a small town experience with plenty of extras. Register for our tournament and be part of another spectacular year. There will be a 48 team max this year, so secure your spot early.
